(01) The role
We don't have traditional project managers — our engineers and designers own delivery. But we do need someone who owns the studio itself: scheduling, billing, contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and the thousand small things that keep twelve senior people shipping.
This is a generalist role with high autonomy. You'll report to the co-founders and work closely with every team. If you like making systems that let other people do their best work, this is the job.
(02) What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Run studio operations: billing, contracts, vendor management, studio logistics
- Coordinate client onboarding, offboarding, and engagement cadence rituals
- Own hiring operations — sourcing support, scheduling, candidate experience
- Manage studio events, retreats, and the Lahore office
- Partner with co-founders on financial and strategic planning
(03) What you'll bring
Requirements
- Five or more years in studio ops, agency producing, or COO-adjacent roles
- Comfortable with financial fundamentals — AR/AP, forecasting, basic unit economics
- Excellent written communication and documentation habits
- Lahore-based; comfortable with occasional travel to Brisbane
Nice to have
- Background in design or engineering-led companies
- Previous experience scaling a studio from 10 to 30+
- Familiarity with Linear, Notion, Xero or similar tools
(04) The offer
Compensation
Senior-band salary benchmarked against studio COOs in the APAC region. Profit sharing twice a year. Equipment budget, learning stipend, and six weeks of discretionary paid leave per year.
