(01) Our take

React Native is our default recommendation when a mobile app needs to ship on both iOS and Android and doesn't have hard platform-specific requirements. Expo's managed workflow has matured to the point where most teams can avoid ever opening Xcode or Android Studio for normal work.

We're candid with clients about where React Native struggles: complex animations, deep platform integrations, and apps where the difference between 58fps and 60fps is commercially meaningful. For those cases we recommend native. For everything else, React Native is a better use of most budgets.

(02) What we build with it

Typical work

  • B2B and internal mobile apps
  • MVP mobile products where time-to-market matters
  • Apps that share significant business logic with a web frontend
  • Rewrites of underperforming native apps where the problem is architecture, not technology

(03) How we engage

Engagement shape

Typical first-ship timeline is 10–16 weeks. Expo-managed workflows can drop that to 6–10 weeks for simpler applications.
