We’re not a performance-marketing agency. We don’t run campaigns, write ad copy, or manage bids. What we are is the team that handles the engineering underneath everything a performance team does: server-side tracking, Conversions APIs, first-party data pipelines, catalog feeds, offline conversion imports, and the integrations between your product data and the ad platforms you’re buying on.
This lane exists because of how much marketing tracking has shifted in the last three years. The browser-side pixel world — Meta Pixel, GA Universal, classic TikTok Pixel — has been quietly dying. iOS privacy changes, third-party cookie deprecation, and ad blockers have eaten most of the signal that made browser-side tracking reliable. The replacement is server-side: Meta Conversions API, TikTok Events API, GA4 with Measurement Protocol, server-side Google Tag Manager. The platforms look superficially similar; the engineering shape is completely different.
Our work is the engineering side of that shift. Server-side GTM containers that dedupe browser and server events. Advanced Matching with hashed first-party identifiers to rebuild the attribution signal iOS took away. Conversions API pipelines with proper event schemas and a response-handling loop that doesn’t silently drop events for weeks. Catalog integrations that keep Meta, TikTok, and Google product catalogs in sync with the merchant’s actual inventory. Offline conversion imports from CRM to ad platforms so closed deals actually get back to the optimiser.
Clients usually come to us when their performance team has hit the ceiling of what a marketing agency can sensibly handle. The ad-buying is working; the tracking underneath it is the bottleneck. We don’t compete with the marketing agency — we slot in underneath, hand them the infrastructure they’ve been trying to get built for six months, and let them do the part they’re actually good at. Pretending otherwise is how this lane gets confused with agency work, which is not what it is.
