(01) Our take
Bootstrap is in more production codebases than any other CSS framework, by a long way. We don't reach for it on new builds — Tailwind has eaten that lane — but inherited Bootstrap codebases are a routine part of our work, especially on internal tools, admin dashboards, and sites older than five years.
We treat Bootstrap like any other inherited system: we learn its conventions, keep changes consistent with them, and only propose a migration when the client has the budget and the appetite for it. Rewriting to Tailwind is a real engagement we take on — but only when it's the right call, not by default.
(02) What we build with it
Typical work
- Feature work on existing Bootstrap-based applications
- Admin and internal-tool maintenance
- Bootstrap-to-Tailwind migration planning and execution
- Accessibility remediation on Bootstrap component libraries
